Working Principle: By stimulating the ultrasonic transducer with an electric pulse, the transducer emits ultrasonic waves, which penetrate the subject's heel to reach another transducer. Due to different bone qualities, the speed and attenuation of ultrasound are different. By calculating SOS (speed of sound) and BUA (broadband ultrasound attenuation), the BMD obtains parameters such as T-Score and Z-Score, which are displayed or printed for doctors' diagnosis and reference.

Scope of Application: Uses ultrasound to detect the bone density value of the calcaneus.

Animation Playback

When the subject is under 8 years old, the measurement interface will play animation on the right half to attract children's attention and ensure the foot does not move during measurement.

Recommended External Device Configuration: OSTEOKJ3000S and OSTEOKJ3000S+ BMDs have built-in computer, integrated LCD screen, and built-in printer, which can work without external devices, and can also connect to a color printer for color report printing. Other models require different external devices.
